Finding your ring size

She is made to your hand, so the size you send us is the size she is made to. Take a minute over it. Any jewellery store will measure you in a moment, or you can measure at home as below. Sizes are very standard; the chart shows how they translate.

Measuring at home

  1. 01

Take a length of string, a thin strip of paper or a soft tape measure.

  2. 02

Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you will wear her on. Snug, not tight: it should slide over the knuckle with a little resistance.

  3. 03

Mark the point where it meets itself with a pen or fine-liner.

  4. 04

Lay it flat and measure from the end to the mark in millimetres. That is the circumference. Find it in the first column of the chart.

Measure at the end of the day, when your hands are warm, and measure three times. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger. If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of the finger, measure the knuckle too and choose a size between the two.

Larger sizes: write to us.

European and ISO sizes are simply the circumference in millimetres. South Africa uses the UK letter scale. We make her to the size you send us; a size sent in error is not a fault in the making, so please measure with care.

If she needs resizing

A local jeweller can resize her by up to three sizes. We can also resize her ourselves, for a flat fee of R1,000, with shipping to us and back at your own expense, in her original packaging or something equally secure. This is arranged by hand rather than offered as standard, so write to us first and we agree the timing together.
